Massey College Loses One of Its Most Distinguished Members We are sad to announce that Dr. Ursula Franklin, a Massey College Senior Fellow, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016. Dr. Franklin was a metallurgist, research physicist, feminist, peace activist, author and educator. She received her PhD in experimental physics at the Technical University of Berlin, after she and her parents survived the holocaust. She arrived in Toronto in 1948 to pursue
