This year the program will feature a discussion on equity and healthcare. The goal of our symposium is to stimulate a dialogue that explores national and local issues related to access and equity in healthcare. Some of the strengths and weaknesses of our health care system will be discussed including equity in breast cancer survivorship, inner city challenges and limitations in funding. A panel discussion will address opportunity areas including urban and rural disparities, healthy neighbourhoods and modern informatics.
This event is open to the university community.
