Massey College is a graduate students’ residential community affiliated with, but independent from, the University of Toronto. It provides a unique, congenial and intellectual environment for graduate students of distinguished ability in all disciplines to share in a rich and stimulating community.
Whether you’re in Toronto for a few days or a few months, Massey College is an ideal place to stay from May 1 to August 28. Designed by celebrated architect Ron Thom and nestled in the heart of the University of Toronto, the College is just steps away from public transit as well as some of the city’s top restaurants, shopping districts, and museums. During the academic year, Massey College is a graduate student residential community connected to, but independent from, the University. During the summer term, members of the College stay on as affiliated summer residents. At this time we also open our doors to non-affiliated summer residents from around the world.
As part of the Massey summer community you will have access to many of our facilities, including: Ondaatje Hall, the Robertson Davies Library, the Upper Library, the Common Room, and our beautiful treed quadrangle. In addition, the Massey experience extends well beyond the College’s historical architecture forming a warm, diverse, and interdisciplinary community.
We are looking forward to having you stay with us. If you have any questions about Massey College or how to reserve a room, please feel free to contact Hannah or Jennifer by e-mail at summerresidence@masseycollege.ca or by phone at 416-946-7843. You can also download a reservation form directly from the website and send it to us via email or fax. Our office is open from May 1 to August 29, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.
