College Policies

Massey College is a warm and inviting community that gathers brilliant minds around the same goal: making the world a better place. We require and expect from our membership and guests to embrace the privacy, dignity, self-respect and safety of all fellow members and visitors of the College. Our Policies and Code of Conduct are part of every fellow’s agreement, signed upon acceptance to the College.

The Massey College Accessibility Policies and Procedures were adopted in April 2012. They are based on the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. Staff attended a training session with disability advocate and conslutant, Christine Karcza.

Massey College presently has some accessible features and is working towards creating an inclusive, barrier-free environment, as resources allow. The College has two accessible washrooms and an elevator. Wheelchair accessibility is available from both gates of the College. Guests who wish assistance are asked to contact the Porter at 416-978-2895 one day in advance of their visit.

The Prinicpal and Fellows of Massey College are committed to providing a high level of service to its community members, including those who with disabilities.  Massey College is also committed to providing reasonable accommodation to its community members and will continue to work in partnership with its staff and the community to identify, prevent and remove barriers to participation.
