Please join your Massey community for weekly yoga and wellness workshops inclusive of all fitness levels.
With a focus on mindfulness and physical awareness, each workshop starts with a short meditation segment followed by an hour of fundamental yoga led by Keshna Sood.
March dates are:
Wednesday 4th 8 – 9 am
Sunday 8th 10 – 11 am
Friday 13th 8 – 9 am
Wednesday 18th 8 – 9 am
Sunday 22nd 12 – 1 pm
Friday 27th 8 – 9 am
Keshna is an experienced yoga teacher specializing in Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga. In each workshop, Keshna focuses on the fundamentals of yoga both as a practice and a lifestyle. Keshna is a long-time advocate of wellness and has been trained in mindfulness techniques to help combat stress and promote relaxation. Keshna ensures that each workshop is inclusive and accessible by introducing modified positions in the case of injury – so long as they are disclosed at the beginning of the workshop.
Workshops are open to all JFs, SFs, Visiting Scholars, Quadranglers and Alumni of the college on a drop-in basis. All styles and fitness levels are most welcome.
We ask that attendees arrive at least 20 minutes (~7:40 am) early to mindfully mingle and warm-up over some tea and coffee.
