We have another full week ahead for our Massey Dialogues series:
Tuesday, May 5 at 4pm – Dr. Sacha Bhatia, Chief Medical Innovation Officer of Women’s College Hospital and cardiologist at UHN, will speak to Virtual Care in a Post-COVID World. He and I will be joined by Senior Fellow, and UofT’s former Dean of Medicine, Dr. Catharine Whiteside and Junior Fellow and medical student Krish Bilimoria. We will discuss the use of big data for medical uses, a counterpoint to our discussion on privacy last week. Watch the livestream here.
Wednesday, May 6 at 12pm – We will hear from Corporate Governance specialist Ed Waitzer in We Have Met the Enemy and He is Us – What We Might Learn From This Crisis? Lawyer and innovator Senior Fellow Dr. Gary Mooney and Junior Fellow and Ph.D. in economics, Tommaso Alba, will share their reactions. Watch the livestream here.
Finally, Thursday, May 7 at 5pm – Tune in to hear the outgoing and incoming Visiting Fellows on Foreign and Defence Policy, Margaret Biggs and Rosemary McCarney. They will be joined in conversation by Junior Fellow and student at both the Munk and Rotman Schools Anowa Quarcoo to discuss The COVID19 Pandemic: Implications for Foreign and Defence Policy.
