Dear Members of the Community, Chers collègues,
I hope you all enjoyed a restful long weekend.
This week, I invite you to tune in to two Massey Dialogues events:
Tuesday, May 19 at 4pm – The Rt. Hon. Adrienne Clarkson will share her reflections on how the pandemic has revealed cracks in our society, in Being Old in the Time of Coronavirus. We will be joined by Senior Fellow Professor Gillian Einstein and Junior Fellow Gurveer Bains. Watch here.
Thursday, May 21st at 5pm – Our guests will be Shireen Salti and Ola Mohajer from the Canadian Arab Institute, who will share their Insights into the Arab Population in Canada through their research on history, migration patterns, civic engagement, and demographic data. Watch here.
I am also pleased to share that the entire community is invited to four upcoming Virtual Massey Wellbeing Workshops – being offered on Zoom by Junior Fellow Keshna Sood, an experienced yoga instructor specializing in Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga. Keshna is a long-time advocate of wellness and has been trained in mindfulness techniques to help combat stress and promote relaxation.
