Senior Fellow, Professor Marla Sokolowski, studies genetics at the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at The University of Toronto.  Her work focuses on teasing out the connections between lived experience, genetic inheritance, and behavioral predisposition in higher order fauna.  Senior Fellow Mr. Haroon Siddiqui is an author, journalist, and former editor for The Toronto Star.  Mr Siddiqui’s wide-ranging interests include the evolution of Canadian cultural thought, and the immigrant experience in Canada.  Together, they will be tackling the theme of “Patterns, Populations, and Battles,” and we invite you to come find out what these two presenters have in common.  The discussion will be aided and abetted by journalist, Senior Fellow,  Michael Valpy.
