Massey is Missing COP26 – cur continuing and exciting program on Climate Change has a number of events this week.

  • Tuesday, November 17th from 12:00pm-1:00pm EST – The Role of the Canadian Financial Sector in Expanding Carbon Intensive Projects. Register to attend here. 
  • Thursday, November 19th from 12:00pm-1:30pm EST – The Role of Arts and Culture in Building Public Momentum for Ambitious and Critical Policies at COP26. Register to attend here. 

We have the Massey Dialogues on Wednesday, November 18th at 4:00pm. From Zoonoses to Pandemics – Over and Over and Over Again will feature the co-author of a major UNEP report on the threat, Preventing the Next Pandemic: Zoonotic diseases and how to break the chain of transmission, animal ecologist Dr. Johannes Refisch will speak to us from UNEP headquarters in Nairobi — joining Senior Fellow Dr. Dianne Saxe, former Ontario Environment Commissioner (2015-2019), and Junior Fellow Gavia Lertzman-Lepofsky, a PhD student in evolutionary biology studying patterns of community diversity among anolis lizards in the Caribbean.
