We are looking to fill a position of the College Bursar.

Reporting to the Master (CEO/Chair), the Bursar is responsible for the oversight and direction of all aspects of administration: financial management, budgeting, accounting and reporting; familiarity with human resources is also an asset.
Within the University of Toronto, Massey College is a small, independent, interdisciplinary College with which resident and non-resident post-graduate students, senior faculty and members from the wider community are associated. With an annual operating budget of $2.5 million and a staff of 35, it conducts a lively programme of activities during the academic year, and a summer rental programme.
The successful candidate will have a professional accounting certification, experience in a not-for-profit environment, and be familiar with fund accounting. Ability to work with and relate to all members of the Massey community, and to the College’s governance structure, is essential. The position requires a commitment of several days a week; salary is commensurate with the nature of the position, commitment and the size of the College; benefits are similar to those of the University, the holidays are generous.
